Heavy rain installation time is 10 minutes or less. It was barely enough to figure out how to do that Origami figure. There must be something wrong with your ps3 if it took 90 minutes. You can skip the patch, It didn't need a patch the first time I played it. (it's just adding move functionality I guess)

There are plenty worse examples though. Resistence 3 game data deletion took almost an hour. I thought the system had crashed, checked online first and it's a known problem with R3. Don't reset the ps3, otherwise you end up with corrupted data. Hopefully the file system gets a complete overhaul too next gen.

PSN store runs really well for me (its quite speedy in fact)

I only got round to playing Heavy Rain for the first time in January this year (that could have factored in to the amount of downloads required after i had installed it)

Signing in & PSN store for me........ FAST.

Downloads & Installations........ painfully slow.

I have not attempted to delete anything yet (hopefully i wont ever need to as i have a 250GB and its not my primary console).

An overhaul would be appreciated no doubt.
