They're doing this as a response to WiiU and trying to salvage Vita as a PS4 remote player instead of just a handheld.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Vita was designed with this in mind.

And WiiU's implementation is automatically inferior because it requires you to be close to the console. You could use the Vita to play PS4 games on a wi-fi far away from the console.

Also tell me how this is a response to WiiU when Sony have been doing this for many years. 


Because the gamepad comes with the console and is part of the console. Its not just to play games on your handheld its a dual screen experience like a DS. I hope you figure it out after you read what i typed.

What are you answering? Vita will cover much of that too. 


So far i have not seen anything that demonstrated dual screen gaming from remote play. I could be wrong so feel free to inform me by posting evidence of this feature.

Do you mean Ps4/PS Vita or PS3/PS Vita? This one feature second screen basically (PS3/PS Vita Remote Play).
