People have had it worse than me? Yes. They have. I never said no one has had it worse than me. You mentioned numerous times (before I got involved) that white men shouldn't be offended when called names, etc, and that only women and black people had rights to that. That's what ticks me off. Other people in this thread are saying that no one should be discriminated against and hated towards. I appreciate those people. You were saying it is only a one-way road.

I have been hurt just as much as many women and black people from the way others have treated me for what I am physically. Does that mean many of them haven't had it worse? No, of course many have. But I *have* been descriminated against and had my emotions hurt for years. I lived in fear and hatred towards myself for what I was because I was unaccepted. And you're saying I shouldn't be offended, because I'm white. You're saying I'm not allowed to be as upset as those other people. You're saying it doesn't matter.

But we're saying that all descrimination should stop. Because it doesn't matter who you are, you can get your feelings hurt and no one has the right to display hatred towards you for your birth.

But you're just like all the other people who just keep saying "grow up, it's not a big deal" when I get hurt. You have no idea the pain I went through and you have no basis to say those people descriminating against me shouldn't be stopped.

THEY SHOULD BE STOPPED.

Descrimination should be stopped. Across the board. Not just for women. Not just for blacks. For Asians too. For redheads too. For muslims too. For everyone.

AND IT IS A BIG DEAL FOR ANYONE WHO GETS HARRASED FOR WHO THEY ARE, REGARDLESS OF THEIR SKIN COLOR OR CHROMOSOME MAKEUP.

No, I said nobody should get offended over a nonsense term like cracker which has no real negative context to it outside stuff just kinda made up out of anger of black slurs... while white people still held power so it dosen't really matter.

Not that white men should never be offended about anything ever in their lives.

In otherwords, that "racism" towards white people and "Sexism" towards men, isn't the same as it is towards black people and women.  There is too big of a historical and power differential there, therefore some things are just going to be offensive to only the party that's been wronged more.

Basically every deragatory insult against white people as a race has nothing behind it because people have always been on top.

That's totally different from being insulted individual charactersitics that isn't about your race.  You weren't being insulted for being white.  You were insulted for having red hair.  Often by white people.

That's bad yeah, and no I wouldn't just tell you to "grow up" in that case.  However I would tell you that's still not equitable to being made fun of for your race.

A White person and Hispanic person can both be upset at being called lazy.  However lazy is a sterotype against hispanics.  So yeah, the hispanic person should be more mad... and people should be more mad about it.

If Someone calls you and a Hispanic dude both fat?  Yeah, you both have a reason to be equally angry.
