No, this is more like a temporary boost in sales. There was a big sale on for the Wii U at HMV (a retailer in liquidation) last week. They reduced the price significantly for the Premium Bundle and Zombie U, slashing off £140 off the price. I'm guessing a lot of the sales were from this.
