I don't get how the OP can post such overwhelmingly grandiose prediction like this? There are many factors going into this. I mean, I understand that the Wii U doesn't have the wow factor that the original Wii did, but nothing is set in stone.
SW WILL, WILL, WILL WILLLLL drive Hardware. Just like Halo did with 360, Resistance with ps3, Gears with 360, GOW with ps3, Halo again, with 360, GOW again with PS3. Even when Nintendo were selling 200k wiis in it's prime, when PS3/360 exclusives came out, they were closer to the Wii momentum.
The poster seems to be clamoring about the new consoles, but there is a massive unknown here. Sure, we're all up and jumping over the next gens, but we don't know anything about them, let alone how they're going to sell. I'm sure they'll do fine initial, but let's say they're starting at $400 or entry. They're not going to garner the same love the Wii got. That's the same reason why wii u isn't flying off shells. Look at ps3 and 360, those were faltering for the better part of their life cycle.
