Tomb Raider is an amazing piece of software. I loved playing it.
It's far from perfect, though. I really didn't care for the "boss" fights. The dudes with the shield. I found it completely unnecessary and it sort of took me from the fantasy of the game and reminded me I was playing a video game. Some of the run-n-gun sections could have been pared down a little bit. After a while, in games like this, one can't help but begin to wonder how many more henchmen these villains could possible have in their employ.
Other than that, no complaints. Phenomenal game. I don't criticize it for being a video game at it's core, I just wish it had risen above some of the unfortunate cliches that have reared their ugly head during this console generation.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.
