OT: they'll probably offer a few more deals on games and do more promotions as the months go by and the 360 lifetime comes to an end but nowhere near to the value consumers get off playstation plus. 

Well fact is Live has been the premiere service where as PSn since its inception, had to crawl its way feature wise to match Live, even today still doesnt have the ease to navigating and connecting with friends, and gets apps after Live has had them for a good while.

PS Plus is Sony throwing free old games (which cost them next to nothing) at the consumer to make them forget the above. From what I see from PS+ users, its game overload; they either have no time for them or the games are so old they have no interest in them. PS Plus is a PR stunt IMO, meant to distract from not being as feature rich as Live.

 

Nahhh, the games you get free off playstation plus are still a great deal. U dont think getting gravity rush, uncharted golden abyss and wipeout 2048 is a good deal? Those games still cost £30-40 brand new in stores. Mass effect 3 before it was made available was £59.99 in the store now its free. Infamous 2 and littlebigplanet 2 are great games aswell. For those like myself who have had a ps3 for a while the games released we already own but you still recognise the value of ps plus. To those that have only just bought a ps3 or a vita you get given an instant game collection when u subscribe. My brother bought a vita last week and didn't have to buy any games because he already had those games there ready to play. It's just a huge convenience really..

Theres no game overload either. You're not forced to play them.. It's just knowing that you have free games which you can play at your own convenience. Day 1 digital downloads are another thing. Again, another convenience to have.
