Honestly, if anything, this leads me to believe that the next Xbox is going to be a Windows 8 box. It's just going to be a PC at heart, which is why they're not worried about lining up games, because they're going to be compatible from the very beginning.
Edit: Or/and gaming isn't going to be a heavy focus. Strange, but possible.
