That's awesome to read. It really, honestly is. Excellent interview.

I know there has been a lot of talk about the advantages and disadvantages of revealing the PS4 so early, but I absolutely think we're looking dead at one of the advantages. Sony, right now, is winning the attention of smaller developers. The work Sony is doing on that front is showing up in interviews and on developer-focused websites and even on gamer-focused websites. I'm almost certain we're not going to see PSN suffer for content against Xbox Live the way it did in the early years of the PS3.

This is extremely important stuff, even if it might sound dry and technical. It means more games--and the games are the point of this hobby, aren't they?

As for the idea that there might be too MANY games, I don't think so. It's working just fine for Steam. They're just going to have to improve the Playstation Store to handle more content, which is why the PC version is important, and also why that touchpad might be a big deal.

The PS4 is going to be an attractive platform for digital content and that makes me very happy.
