But anyways, I didn't really start talking to Russell until I was working at the movie theater. One of our mutual friends was watching Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Mans Chest and told me that he just applied at the theater and so I put in a good word for him (because I thought he was a nice guy and my manager respected my opinion). So I got him a job and we started talking on AIM (because he went to school about 40 miles away). I started developing a crush on him there and invited him out to our openly gay managers birthday party at a gay club (well..through technicality i guess that could be considered an event). I thought he was uncomfortable the whole time we were there because I didn't know he was actually gay. He was really just enjoying looking around. My skeezy ex was there and talked shit about me because he thought I was with Russell but....whatever. lol A few weeks later, he came out to me on AIM. I told him I liked him but he was really shy. We ended up going on a date to the movies (because we were both broke as hell). The rest is history. :) |
