Multiplayer fanboy complainers are the worst. There are still Halo 2 multiplayer fans that rail against the improvements, additions, and enhancements that the later games brought to the series. Halo 4 is the best game in the series from all angles and there are those who just want the exploitable gameplay of Halo 2 so they can dominate. Level the playing field and they hate it because they can't as easily pwn noobs.

As for Gears of War Judgment, the multiplayer fans who are so full of hate all sound like they just wanted to keep playing Gears of War 3. I have news for them, they can still play Gears of War 3. Judgement is an addition to the series with new modes and new things to do. Play the new stuff and enjoy it for being different and if you want the old stuff play the damn old stuff.

Gamers have a duty to inform the developers of their likes and dislikes of a product. That's one of the main reasons why developers make their forums. If gamers felt displeased with changes they shouldn't just shut up and let the developers do what they want. Developers want to please the consumers. The best way to do this is to let the consumers be open and tell them what pleases them and what doesn't. Otherwise, the developers risk releasing a series of games that become less and less in touch with what the fans want.

In the case of Gears gamers they're always moaning about something.  People decalred Gears 2 terrible for multiplayer and lambasted it for all the "bugs".  Epic subsequently released 5+ title updates with each one fixing the bugs and tweaking the game.  As each update came out people still whined about things that were removed or altered.  Gears 3 produced thousands of posts in the forums crying about the overpowered sawn off shotgun.  The fact that you missed your shot you were pretty much screwed for 2-3 seconds meant nothing as they were too upset that it ruined their run in like a idiot with your gnasher gameplay.

Gears fans are very vocal in the Epic forums and will literally moan about everything.  I would take the criticism with a very large pinch of salt, a lot are just upset Epic have still not produced another gnasher fest.

On the subject of Judgement having spent a number of hours with the game and having finished the campaign I can say it's a great addition to the series.  I love the new overun and survival modes and the campaign story is entertaining and paced well.  I prefer the Gears 3 campaign but it's better than the first game and on par with the second imo.  I do miss horde mode so hope it makes a return in the next Gears game.  As for the other multiplayer gametypes, I've not given them a lot of time yet.
