Probably because of the bolded. Your post does seem like you think it won't be a revolution because of a lack of never before seen features.

No, i think it wont be revolutionary because of it has been done before and the internet is what held onlive back.  Same goes to digital.  We are not ready to go completely digital yet.  Technology needs to advance before something like this is available to everybody.  XBL/PSN isnt available to everybody in the world because some people cant get internet but enough people has it to have changed gaming forever.  Galkai looks like it will use a lot of bandwidth although they could shock everybody and it wont, i dont know.  But as of right now going off of what we know then no, most people wont have the internet capable to keep up with galkai.  Not a bad thing because the people who can use it will most likely love it.  Onlive isnt that old.  Motion controls was never implemented right or made mandatory.  XBL or an online component to consoles was tested by Sega and the dreamcast but two things held it back.  Sega's lack of multiplayer games and the lack of making customers happy with the Dreamcast in general.  Halo pretty much popularized online gaming for consoles.  Then you have the CD drive.  I think that is the only one that that took off on it's first try although I could be wrong.  Someobody will correct me if I'm wrong.

As far as game sharing it has been done and Onlive is still going and has proven to be unsuccessful so far. This isn't something that has been tried years and years ago.  They are still trying.  Becuase Sony is a more popular brand name it has a better chance but they HAVE to make sure people can use it on their internet.  If I was to answer this right now I would say that it is a great expansion on the online infastructure but probably wont take off until interrnet catches up years from now.  Then again as I said before mayb sony and galkai was able to implement this correctly.

Why do you keep bringing up Gaikai likes its a major part of the PS4? As far as we know at this point Gaikai is yet to announce what they will bring to the PS4...apart from what they want to do (ps1, ps2, ps3 support etc.).

Most of the major features showed off by Sony at the PS4 unveiling event like the sharing etc. are all possible with the current internet infrastructure.

Anyways...no i dont think the ps4 will be a revolution, atleast not in the traditional sense.

That is my mistake for thinking it is a part of Galkai.  if im wrong about that then taht is my mistake but my points still stands
