I don't know how accurate his story is, but I always find it funny when people get sentenced to prison in foreign countries and than expect special treatment. If you commit a crime in said country you shouldn't complain about the conditions of the prison in said country or expect to be shipped home for a slap on the wrist. Again don't know the accuracy of his story, but my comment is more in general and not to his specific incident.

Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.
