i view it as a form of self-mutilation except they are getting someone else to do it for them. not only that but its a form of deception since they arent alowing you to see them for who they are meant to be but who they wish to be. only people that have some form of deformity, injury, or disease that disfigures the person or prevents them from functioning properly should be aloud to get it in my opinion. like if a person got in a car wreck and their face was damaged, or a child born with a cleft lip. well thats my 2 cents
