Deny creeps would take away from the important part of support/carry synergy in lane (i'm not sure how lanes work in DoTA 2, if the same roles exists, etc) cause most likely the support would deny creeps as the carry needs to focus on poking and last hitting. Supports have to follow the carries every move and trying to deny creeps kills would lead to getting caught out of place.
