Mr Puggsly said: Republicans are the only thing saving us from Obama. God bless them. |
not sure God is into blessing opressors of the poor and sick. and since the God you want to bless the hostage takers said in his word thatHE raises up leaders what exactly do you need protecting from.
one day i hope the Christian right actually read the bible
|

Most of the Christian right separate what they are called to do from what the government is to do for them. I'm sure they'll continue to give more to charities, spend more time volunteering, and all of the other statistics that just show how "evil and oppresive" they are.
|
most of? did you poll every last person on the right that say they are christians?
so im not sure you believe that yourself. while the conservative media was raising village idiots against the government that "liberal" media was raising money for free health clinics that im sure alot of conservatives in those areas took advantage of.
and besides i'm not talking about everyday so called conservatives. im speaking of the idiotic morally bankrupt shills we have in congress.
who is the "us" that need saving from obama? and from what do we need saving from? i thought "christians" were saved already?
|
I'm just speaking from anecdotes. Of course I don't have a scientific poll of the personal beliefs, but I do know the doctrine is for the church to faciltate the efforts to help the poor and needy.
The "us" that need saving was a joke from Puggsly, but it's not an uncommon opinion to have. A lot of people do not like what he's done and what he's doing. Saving people from him the outcome of what he's trying to do is completely different and totally irrelevant from the spiritual salvation that Christian have, ie. the 'saved already' part.
|
im still trying to figure out the what hes done part that we need saving from. this has been the right wing mantra since day one. theres a reason why the left often get p!ssed at the potus. reality doesnt fit with the rightwing bizarro world. the damn guy is a conservative. if it was clarence thomas saying and proposing the same stuff all of it would have pass.
|
Isn't the fact that Obama is essentially George W. Bush in the worst ways reason enough? When you have John McCain and Lindsy Graham backing you on the war on terror you know you took a wrong turn somehwere.
Also uh for future refrence... using Clarence Thomas as your example is kinda racist...
I mean, why'd you have to go out of your way to pick a black conservative. (and not even Colin Powell at that). It makes it sound like you think race matters.
