I'm not talking generic racist stuff or generally stupid things, but rather gaming related statements that are just uninformed statements.
Anyway what inspired me to make this thread was that I was playing GoW Ascension last night I was chatting with a guy on my team about PS4. We seemed to agree on most until he thought that it would be $300. I said it would be $400 at minimum most likely. He doubted it because he thought PS3 was $200. Now that wouldn't have bothered me, but when I told him it was still $250 for the lowest model, he said he saw a new one at Gamestop for $200. I assured him it must be refurbished or a store special, but he insisted it was the normal price. I then asked him what type, thinking it was a phat. He said it was an 80gb slim, which I definitely took issue with because if I'm not mistaken slim started at 120gb and never went down. After I basically said they wouldn't have lowered the price without ever telling anyone and still list it as $250 on their own website, he basically said that they were trying to rip off consumers and sell it for more online so people wouldn't notice. I just agreed to disagree because it was pretty clear he was too stubborn to budge. Oh and he thought games would be $100 next gen. I just can't reason with some people.
