Sony patents method to add Trophies to games without Trophy support.

Does this mean the only story progression trophies could be awarded? If it's based on "detected disk access", I don't think this could be used for "score 50,000 points in level 2" or "kill this Boss in less than 2 minutes" kind of trophies.
