Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for 3DS, good first monster hunter or should i wait?

Christ Im indecisive right now, im probably gonna end up buying it anyway though in a few days the next time im in the game section lol but im thinking about waiting now, everyone keeps saying how fun the online is :/
