If you don't care, then you're basically trolling here so I'm going to report you. *reports* *mod reviews* Mod: "Ehhh ... I dunno, that's borderline. Is this guy a trouble maker or does he have a relatively clean record? Is this a misunderstand or was it worded in a way that could be taken wrong by someone being overly-sensitive? Maybe I'll just let him know to be careful in the future as that could be taken wrong." _______ For the record, I'm planning on discussing it with the mod if I can. Every person, EVERY SINGLE PERSON has a right to try to defend themselves if they felt they were dealt with wrongly, whether you feel that way or not. I'm glad you're not a mod ... |
Well, with nobody cares I meant most people obviously not me or I wouldn't invest the time to post. I do care seeing someone wasting time and effort on trying to argue an ambivalent case. It bothers me that you spent all the energy getting worked up about a thing like that. I don't see any possibility for you to change a thing because what you did is borderline offensive or can be seen as such.
So you can not win. People won't change their mind if they don't have to. What exactly is your goal. What do you want to achieve ? A mod admiting he was wrong based on a subjective feeling that you don't deserve that treatment even though he is well within his rights to judge that way ?
Ofcourse you have the right to defend yourself but you also have the right to walk through the sahara in a batman costume. But is it a good idea ?
You are right I would be a terrible mod. It requires to get the right feeling when its time to act. I am not sure I could keep that up and permanently monitor the content and judge situations correctly every time. But I am definetly sure I wouldn't want to be a mod without getting money for it.
PSwii60 made it clear you must soften the message to get through with.
