It is one of the developers of Shadows of the damned, which was a HUGE flop with 300k copies sold on PS3 and Xbox 360 combined. 95% of the people in this thread probably never played it.
Reviews were not great either with 76 on meta and that was before the gaming media became as bad as it is now.

The other games he worked on, according to the article are not exactly great either.

And we don't know anything about this title.

The only reason why you guys are excited is because it will be exclusive. Nobody in this thread would even care if it was multiplat. Would there even be a thread for it? Probably not. If they signed a publishing deal with EA for a PSN / XBLA title in 2014, maybe 2015, nobody would even mention it.

That is what I expected and you guys delivered.

I don't care for this game from what I know so far, but why does it annoy you so much that people are looking forward to something?

You came to the thread just to cry about how people shouldn't be excited. Honestly, you come off as insecure or something.

 

OT: Well, it's nice to see that Sony are partnering with developers to bring games to (probably) PS4 early in its life. Hopefully that'll mean no shortage of games at around launch and a continuation of their strategy with PS3.

 

I am not here to tell anyone not to be excited, I just think 99% in this thread are excited for the wrong reason... because it is an exlcusive and not because it will be a quality game.

There is nothing besides empty phrases so far, so we know nothing about the game itself. Do you think the usual suspects would give a *beeep* if this game was multiplat? No, they would not.
