The SC would almost certainly find the law unconstitutional, so long as it's for home use.... if modifying stuff for sale, that could come under interstate trade clause.
The problem is that it's not as easy as just "filing a case", as such this particular law probably won't ever be challenged, unless something like jury nullification goes down... which is so goddamn rare it might aswell not exist.
