If MS can sell many units like that then why wouldn't Sony and Nintendo introduce it as well? 

I'm sure they would, if it were proven succesfull. That's one of the reasons why i would like to see numbers about this.

I was mostly referring to a game changer for the industry itself. With new pricing structures and all that.


Yeah I agree that it could move a lot of units and it makes a little bit more money. I'd be surprised if Sony doens't at least try this for the PS4. 

I'm not sure why MS didn't just make the 360 "free" and then charge people $18 a month. Perhaps that would have shifted more units and it would have made the same amount of money. 

I think for sony and nintedno this may not be an option. With the yen and dollar fluctuating the may get differing amounts each month based on what the yen and dollar did. I am not sure though how it all works out though in the financial world
