Might have to do a rematch for the best hack 'n slashers this year when Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 comes out, that has a serious chance at topping God of War: Ascension if it can top the brilliant original C:LoS! This year is a pretty good year for the genre, although seeing the franchise that originally defined the genre go out with such a whimper with horrendous sales is quite sad, DmC is a pretty good game and deserves better. |
oh man am I hyped for Castlevania! Loved LoS, especially the vampire section. The atmosphere and light weakness stuff was the best. The rest of the game was above average, but the Vampire 1/3 was definitely the highlight for me
