Love God of War: Ascension, like DmC, dislike MGR:R.
Even one of the weaker GoW's (according to whiny critics anyway) is up there with the best of its competitors, GoW just owns the genre in every aspect.
Might have to do a rematch for the best hack 'n slashers this year when Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 comes out, that has a serious chance at topping God of War: Ascension if it can top the brilliant original C:LoS! This year is a pretty good year for the genre, although seeing the franchise that originally defined the genre go out with such a whimper with horrendous sales is quite sad, DmC is a pretty good game and deserves better.
