I've yet to play some other games that have received much praise but from what I've played, these are the best of the best. I probably made generic choices, but whatever. These really were brilliant games.

Edit: Forgot about GOW3.

I might have SS up there this gen if not for the damn motion controls.  Would've been a much better game if all they used motion for was aiming.  I loved everything else about it though.
