Well with the releases of both Mario Kand AND 3D Mario a given this year, I'd say WiiU will definitely come out on top. It's like 3DS in 2011, at the end of the year Nintendo released Mario 3D Land & Kart 7, and the system took off like crazy. They look set to repeat that strategy.

Besides those, WiiU is definitely going to have a lot of other big games coming out this year. Definitely a lot more recognizable big brands than Vita, whichever way you spin it.

Exlusive stuff like WiiFit U, Pikmin 3, Zelda Wind Waker, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Dragon Quest 10, Wario Ware, WiiU Party, Lego City, Wonderful 101, and Pokemon Rumble with the NFC thing, are all certainly going to add up to a robust and very attractive library. Add to that multiplats like AC4, Rayman, RE Revelations, Watchogs, Disney Infinity, Skylanders, COD, Just Dance, and a lot of others, plus the inevitable surprises (like whatever Retro's working on), and you have a very attractive system, games-wise.

I also wouldn't count out the possibility of a pricecut in 2013 eventually. They did it with the 3DS, even though that meant the system being sold at a loss for a long time after. Although with PS4/Xbox720 probably being much pricier, WiiU will likely start to look a *lot* more affordable in comparison.
