Seriously, I'm the only one who think this, when reading the thread title?:

Let's see...I think the majority of people think that Nintendo is done for given the circumstances that they've been going through lately. They haven't built hype for the WiiU, they're lacking games overall (and Ubisoft keep screwing 'em), and Sony has stolen the thunder right now. Now people's waiting for Microsoft to move, and no one is listening to Nintendo right now.

Nintendo is not down, and not out right now. But they need solutions. I don't think Nintendo as a company is in peril, because 3DS has been profitable and it will keep sellin'. But the WiiU lacks support, and we're seeing a "Gamecube situation" all over againg. They can turn the tables, but they need to work this up. I don't see Nintendo doing this exactly. I remember reading somewhere that Miyamoto was planning to create a new Mario brother in order to gain audience, but that's not exactly what the WiiU need. WiiU needs creativity, needs games. And I don't know if a price-cut would help (It wouldn't be healthy for Nintendo though). They need to pull a Playstation 3 here; that's it, they started this new gen wrong, but they can still save the day. WiiU needs advertising too (Not that horrible marketing, for Christ's sake!), and well, I'm no expert in these matters, but everything I've said here is what I firmly believe.

The main problem, as some user stated previously, is that WiiU lacks that "next-gen feel". It lacks any revolutionary idea that could captivate gamers. Think back at the beginning of this gen. Microsoft managed to make a name because the 360 had that next-gen feel. Wii made its name thanks to the revolutionary appeal it created. WiiU lacks these two things.
