People love to hate on Nintendo. This comes from the influence of analysts overflowing into the internet. They see a company they cant predict and that doesnt do what they want them to do. So, instead of writing them off as unpredictable, they say they are doomed, so they dont surprise anyone with their good results like it happened with the Wii.
Its safer for these people to do what they can to eliminate nintendo from the board. The internet is for hating, so once you get someone on the train theres no stopping it.

Obviously, it is way too early to write off Nintendo. Actually Nintendo has a very powerful position in Japan. Its the west that seems to be hating on them because they focus on the japanese needs instead of the western ones. Is it good marketing? Not for the west market. But the fact is Nintendo games are powerful and universally appealing. They dont need to focus on the west specific needs to achieve sucess, and analysts hate them for that. They cant be controlled.

Fact here is: With the proper software out, a price cut and an advertisement campaign this christmas and things will flip. Actually im more worried about the new consoles (PS4 and X720) than the Wii U. The Wii U is the HD evolution of Nintendo gaming, but the new consoles will have a hard time convincing consumers to upgrade. Theres really little reason to do so.
