Kratos doesn't NEED to be done. I admit it would be refreshing to take a new character but SSM can easily write something to make him still be in.

Personally i'd like him as a supporting character in the game, or an end boss :P. Just that he isn't forgotten. He must be known in the universe :>

 

What needs to go is the Blades. I love them but it's time to say goodbye. 6 games and now is the time for a new thing.

The mythology I would also prefer a new one (Egypt please). I hope they don't stay in Greek because nothing will top GoW3 from a story perspective. Scale wise, sure. But the story in Greek mythos is over once you kill the king of the gods, period.

God of War without Kratos is like Metal Gear Solid without Snake. Just no.

 

 

I don't want another MGS with Solid Snake either. He's done as well in my book. Loved MGS4, I want him to rest forever.

Also: I'm not saying smoke Kratos. I simply want him around a lá MGS2. Even MGS2 didn't use Solid Snake but he was there! You saw him through the eyes of Raiden!

Or they could just give Kratos a new motive and new weapons. But I still want that new mythos. The elemental school effect of "Omg Zeus and Hades and stuff, Ive heard of these guys!" just doesnt work when you talk about guys that are so deep within the Greek Mythos :P. And I want this to become true so badly =>
