The type of memory that the Wii U/iPod/Ipad etc.. uses is not "pretty cheap". You can buy a 1TB external hard drive for less than what Nintendo would have to charge for 64GB flash installed in the system. What is everyones problem with the external hard drive? Why would Nintendo want to charge every single person who owns a Wii U for something that a lot of them would never use?

while I agree that there should be low memory option for every system, there should also be a high end model with high storage. I would hate to have an extern HD attached to my PS3 that I'm moving from my college apartment to home constantly and have very small space for in the apartment. Instead I installed a 500gb internal HDD and never have to worry about space again (well maybe. Depending on how many more games PS+ keeps giving me after PS4 comes out lol).
