Chris Hu already said it but--charge and play cable. I jump from playing Xbox in the living room to playing Xbox in the game room and I have one particular controller I love to use. I just go into the room, connect the cable, turn on console, and the I'm set (connected cable or not). It's the easiest way to do it for me.
