S4 is out of question for me. The reason is, I had a Galaxy S (and I actually still use it) I dropped it a lot (like once everyday) but it is still perfectly functional. I sometimes just throw it around in the house for fun. Two of my friends asked me for a durable phone because they drop their phones a lot like me and I recommended S3 to both. Within one month, the screens of both phones cracked and one of them had a case on. I don't trust Samsung anymore. What is the purpose of plastic if the phone is not really durable? Functionality wise it is the best phone though. Windows phone is out of question. I like it but I'd never use it as my daily driver. Great for a lot of people though, I am considering a Lumia 620 for my mother as a gift. |
Yeah, I heard that too, that the S3 breaks very easily, and the S4 will probably too since its made from the same materials.
If you want a durable phone, then I think the Xperia is pretty good.
Are you sure you don't like Windows phone? It looks really good, except many people complain about the few apps, so its understandable if that's your reason for not getting it. But in terms of durabilty, the Lumia 920 is fantastic. The guy at the store was showing me how strong it is and I was very impressed. Check this link out to see how strong it is:
