You should call your service provider and have it replaced. There's no reason it should be acting up like that. They'll probably just give you a new one, but at worst they will send you a temporary replacement while they send yours off to be fixed.

It's a corporate phone.  They will provide me with a new phone when I let them know, as they won't want to risk losing the account... I'm just not going to go with another HTC.  Our provider doesn't offer the Nokia.  My last HTC was good except for a poor battery over time, but overall my experience with build quality has been sub-par.  I do like the OS OK though, I will say that much.  And the phone seemed really cool at first and - this is funny - I've had more random girls say how cool my phone is when I'm out for drinks with both my old black HTC and my new blue 8X.  It's one of the pretiest phones.  But I need my phone to be reliable more than anything, and so HTC has not offered me good enough quality on that front.

I'm just waiting to see if the Xperia Z is going to be offered.  the ZL comes out next month, but I would rather the Z.  If it's not coming, I may look at the Blackberry Z10.
