I had the 8x and the nokia 920 on trial. I went for the 920 for all the reasons you mention.

The camera is indeed superb on the 920. Nokia music is excellent and the other Nokia native apps are really very good indeed. I tend to avoid music software. I hated iTunes (that really is an awful piece of trash software) and I haven't even gone there with the 920. I only use them to sync music to the phone. Nothing more. I buy and store all my music in folders on my home server.

From a work perspective the office 365, sharepoint and office integration is light years ahead of any other phone. So much easier and it just works.

You can see from my sig that I have tried a couple of time waster games and my achievements all count toward my gamerscore... cool.

Oh... and I can change my ringtone to a custom one by the way (DRM files wont allow this), and there is also a nokia ringtone maker app. I think there are also some 3rd party ones.

I'm actually considering trying out the Lumia 928 if it gets released in my area. Apparently the camera is going to be even better than the one on the 920 and it's going to have some sort of fancy aluminum casing. I haven't read anything on the specs yet, but I'm sure it will be beastly, and the Nokia exclusive apps are definitely intriguing.
