MS must be disappointed with those numbers. One would hope to launch better than that, especially with MS marketing budget.
I don't see any hope for RT, it's too little, far too late. It'll never have the app support of iOS, Android and would be lucky to match Blackberry.
My daughter just got a Windows 8 laptop. F#@$ing hated using Win 8. Pain in the ass. Maybe in time I'd warm up to it but based on that experience I'm much more open to learning Apple's or Googles laptop OS now.
The one thing MS has is the ability to cater to hybrid laptop/tablet devices which I think will be popular. But I am waiting for the prices to drop and now for other OS to work on them.
