Up until the sixth generation I would have said yes without a doubt, but the Wii watered down the 'Nintendo Gamer' by flooding the machine with mountains of shovelware. The hardcore Nintendo following was outnumbered and lost in the masses last generation by all the casual gamers picking up the likes of Wii Fit, Just Dance and Carnival Games.
