Yes but with what software? COD was a dud, AC was meh and as good as Uncharted is it didn't have multiplayer and that kept some people away. The great majority of my friends love the idea of the Vita but since it doesn't have compelling games they see no reason to purchase one. In fact, I was in the same camp, but then Amazon had that deal at 180 USD. I’m glad I did because I love the system and I expect great stuff from the likes of Soul Sacrifice, Tearaway and Killzone Mercenary. It has good games, but so far none are 'must buys', and that's what’s keeping people away. I say wait till E3 because at least by then if Sony has games in development or partnerships that would be the best time to show it. If there’s no must buy titles by then and it tanks later in the year then I’d say otherwise.

COD is always a dud! It's essentially the same game every year but look how well it sells! As you've said it also has some big games on the way. If it doesn't pick up soon it never will. Even during the holiday period it didn't even sell all too well with the price being dropped and bundled well. It's like keeping a person on life support Sony should wait till after another christmas then if nothing changes, flick the switch. It's costing them money they can't afford to spare.
