no it's not dead, but it will never be as successful as the PSP outside of Japan, and probably not there either. I basically see the PSV as a continuation of the post crisis core and GTA PSP after the hype died down. PSV could die if it wasn't for Japan, Japan guarantees there is a future for the PSV. I had been saying this for a while but despite the initial low sales in Japan you could still see there was interest for the PSV. I don't see a price cut having a big effect in NA at all, i really think it's doomed to fairly low sales in that region.
