Absolutely. Core gamers are those that appreciate good games and have variety. PS3 checks all the boxes. PC too has although fighting games and playing local multiplayer on PC is rare.
PS3 is the complete gaming system. Those who only play FPS 70% or online gamers are average gamers.
Although it depends on particular user what he likes. But having a single gaming machine is obviously enough.
