I only JUST got into God of War, so i'm not like a long time fan defending it or anything. But I seriously wouldn't count the PSP games if you are arguing that it's being over done.
It just seems like stretching to me.
God of War PS2 (2005)
God of War II PS2 (2007)
God of War Chains of Olympus PSP (2008)
God of War Ghost of Sparta PSP (2010)
God of War III PS3 (2010)
God of War Ascension PS3 (2013)
2 on each platform doesn't seem overdone to me. Especially since the PSP is a handheld. You can't really count the collection or origins imo. I suppose reviewers have to review them but they shouldn't let that affect their reviews of Ascension. Havn't played Ascension yet btw (besides multiplayer).
