I agree 100%.
I would say Gears wasnt a very high profit percentage for them actually. Rember, Each time you see a game running U3 Engine... That's I beleive it's around 500,000$ +royalties cash in their pocket. If microsoft bought them, Microsoft would be STUPID to make them an exclusive company. And when I say stupid... I mean really stupid. It would turn change Epics Giant Green Numbers on their spread-sheets, to giant red numbers. They actually rely on engine sales.
