Right now, yes. Sony is in the worst financial position of the three by far. They're improving though and seem to be back on the rise. I'm pretty sure their stocks are still in the junk category though, (or near it) even after the ps4's announcement. The price of parts alone for the ps4 is to be estimated at $450-500 as I've discussed in other threads and Sony can't afford a big loss. The price for the console will also be around that so the loss will be small to moderate. In my opinion, the price will be to high again and who knows what will happen.
Not to mention that the neXtbox hasn't been revealed yet and there are people are claiming that it will win (not too much here than other sites but admit it, it exists). It's like blind folding yourself before a fight. Foolish.
After I've said that though, a lot of it is hype. People getting caught in it, an easy thing to do. Especially after coming out of the longest gen yet. We're all feeling it. It's waning down now, well for me at least, then it will re-explode when the 720 is announced.
