Guys, I was thinking... PSV had sold a total of 1,170,179 units in Japan before its price cut. After the price cut, went to sell 60,561 units last week, and then 61,152 units this week.

These 2 weeks together (price cut + Soul Sacrifice) represent an increase of over 10% in PSV's total installed base in Japan, which is really something meaningful.

A 'dead' console probably wouldn't see such a turnaround. I hope Vita's sales will keep a faster pace, and hopefully Soul Sacrifice can have some good legs.

Software numbers:

Soul Sacrifice = 105,863

Tales of Hearts R = 48,178

Senran Kagura = around 15K (week 2, total 107k)

Phantasy Star Online 2 = around 8K (week 2, total 64K)

Thoughts? I think the increase in sales can motivate developers to bring even more games to the Vita.
