| PDF said: Edit: Core: Often buying Call of Duty and a sports game along with a couple others. Hardcore: buys more than 6 games a year. Will often buy more fringe games with cult followings. Casual: buys one or two titles a year. CoD/Sports game/ Motion gaming/ music gaming. What ever is popular at the time
Nintendo gamers are really a different breed. Not a core in the overall gaming sense but there is definetly the core nintendo gamer who is reliable to pick up Mario, Zelda, Smash, MK, Metroid, ect. |
Here's how I see it:-
Casual - Plays every so often. Interested in games which are easy to pick up and play. Think mobile and party games that can be enjoyed with family and friends.
Core - Plays more (advanced) games. The; Tomb Raiders, Halo's, Call of Duty's, Assassins Creed's, Zelda's etc.
Hardcore - People who spend hours upon hours on a particular game. Think World of Warcraft or Call of Duty players who rack up days/weeks of play time.
