Where a machine is outsold by the competition for one full year... one unique week is a HUGE accomplishment... and can be one of few to happened in the entry life of this machine.

Let's not get carried away here. I'm happy for the Vita, I'm glad it's selling well. It's impressive that it outsold the 3DS this week. Some celebration is expected -- even encouraged. But this barely qualifies as an "accomplishment," much less a HUGE one.
