10.5 million sold to retailers as of Dec 31 2007, straight out of Sony's financial report. You realize news stories don't actually track sales data themselves, they have to get them from somewhere? Unless they specifically cite a source (NPD, GfK, etc.) then it's coming from these financial reports (publically available information).
I understand you're a rabid Sony fanboy from your limited posting history here, and that's fine, but attacking the numbers on the site you're posting on is a quick way to get a perma-ban.
