I did notice that those were specific points and not general so they wouldn't be the same. Fact is, though, that there were long lists of games in development for Vita and long lists of developers working on it. That didn't amount to as much as expected. Don't see why this will. Give me the actual names of big games that'll make a noticable difference in sales and then we'll talk.

Well, any of Sony's biggest studios working on Vita is the main point I was getting at: Naughty Dog aren't going to work on it; Santa Monica haven't so far; Polyphony haven't so far.  You can assume that all 3 of them will show up for the PS4 and bring Sony's biggest franchises with them.

I'm not too sure what to say about third parties, though.  After I typed it I thought "Actually, Activision, EA & Ubisoft have shown up for Vita".  It's just a shame that Ubisoft are the only one putting any effort in.  Square Enix and Capcom being conspicuously absent hasn't helped either; but from the PS4 reveal we know they are at least developing more than ports for the console.

I think the actual games matter more than "developers are working on it". Even if Naughty Dog and Polyphony are apparently doing something
for the PS4, until they announce Uncharted 4 and Gran Turismo 6, that's just a pile of words. I'm sure Vita will eventually get these franchises, too. Not doing much for sales, though.

Also, the situation with the third parties is something that could potentially happen with the PS4; all the main third parties are on board, but even their best games are still selling like crap. I don't necessarily think it will, but I don't see why it won't.
