I always focus on the best bang for my buck at the time of the build.
In other words, which is best for about $150?
I don't worry so much about its gaming capabilities as I do that mostly on a console and rarely on PC anyways. Maybe as my kids get older and desire that, but then they can pitch in on the costs too.
I've built two PCs since like 2001. Spent about $1700 on both including monitors. Never had an issue.
