Console allegiance is stupid. The only reason I never purchased a 360 is because Halo doesn't appeal to me, I'm not paying to play multiplayer, and I already have an HD console.

Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect 1, Tales of Vesperia, Gears of War Triple Pack, PGR 3/4, Forza 2/3, Alan Wake, Fable, Too Human, etc all for <$20 each. Witcher 2 for $25

Yep, let me pay $130 + $20 + $20 = $190 to play Gears & Alan Wake offline. Makes sense.

I don't think so. Everyone I know with a PS2 had it break on them, and all the repair shops (I repaired my PS2 twice before I replaced it) said that most lasers die after 2-3 years, and I was lucky to have it last 6. I think mine only lasted 6 because I played Gamecube primarily.

I have my orginal slim ps2 that still works great. And I doubt you know more than 1 person.
